How we handle your files

Every PDFCraftly tool runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. When you add a file, it is read and processed locally on your device. The result is created in your browser and saved straight to your downloads.

• No uploads. Your files are never sent to our servers or to anyone else.
• No file storage. We have no copy of your files, so there is nothing for us to keep, read, share or delete. Closing or reloading the tab clears them from memory.
• No account required. We never ask for your name, email or any other personal information.

Information we collect

We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts: no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, and no third-party trackers. Like any website, the server that hosts PDFCraftly may keep standard access logs (such as IP address, the page requested, and the time) for security and to keep the site running. Those logs never contain your files.

Cookies

PDFCraftly does not set any cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies or social media cookies. Your preferences (such as theme) are stored in your browser's local storage, which only you can access.

Third-party services

The OCR PDF tool uses Tesseract.js. The first time you run OCR, your browser downloads the OCR engine and the language data you choose from the jsDelivr content delivery network (cdn.jsdelivr.net). This download only fetches software and language files. Your PDF is never sent. As with any request, jsDelivr can see your IP address. No other tool contacts a third-party service.

The website itself may be served through a content delivery network, which processes your IP address to route traffic. We never share file content with anyone and do not share personal data with third parties.

Children's privacy

PDFCraftly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data security

The site is served over TLS (HTTPS) with a strict Content Security Policy. Because your files are processed on your own device and never transmitted, they are never exposed in transit or stored on a server.

Your rights

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of PDFCraftly after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
